Our technologies are used worldwide by agencies, manufacturers, and operators.

Use cases include:

  • Metro network equipped with SubWAVE for underground navigation.
  • Satellite operators using Constellator for mission validation.
  • Defense applications requiring resilient GNSS.

Our history

2015

Joël and Béatrice KORSAKISSOK co-found Syntony GNSS with Christian BEC. Syntony meets its first major successes with OneWeb Satellites, by providing GNSS simulators for pre-launch testing of 900 satellites.

2016

SubWAVE is deployed in Stockholm Metro, extending GPS Coverage to the entire underground network. Syntony opens its first ovearseas office in New York, United States.

2017

The company’s international presence is strenghtened, with a large distributor network in Europe, North America, and Asia.

2018

Syntony launches its first IoT GPS receiver, drastically reducing energy consumption for GNSS positioning. This innovation, coupled with SubWAVE availability for bus infrastructures and road tunnels, offers new opportunities to Industry: with tracking management, worldwide and undergrounds.

2019

Syntony raises €6M to deploy its SubWAVE technology, accelerate R&D, and expand internationally. The company receives the Pass French Tech, recognizing its innovation ans international growth potential.

2020

IoT tracker SoftSpot IoT is enhanced, offering now more than 20 times energy savings compared to classic GNSS receivers. Syntony successfully tests its Jammer Detection & Location system.

2021

Syntony is chosen by the 5GAA to develop indoor RTK positioning systems for Automotive industry and expands into the Mining sector with the SubWAVE technology. SubWAVE is also deployed in the Mont Blanc tunnel, enabling truck platooning tests.

2022

Syntony develops its SoftSpot receiver with Radio Occultation technology. Syntony is the first provider to include Xona Space System's PULSAR™ signals in both its GNSS Simulator and Receiver. The company also joins the TCCA, strengthening its presence in critical communications.

2023

Syntony partners up with Xona Space System to integrate their LEO PNT constellation to its GNSS simulators and receivers solutions. This year also symbolizes the launch of CERBER, the company’s CRPA GNSS receiver.

2024

Syntony announces a partnership with Keysight Technologies in the GNSS simulation field, particularly regarding CRPA testing. Meanwhile, ESA renews its trust in Syntony's receivers, and SubWAVE gets an innovation award in Geneva.

2025

Syntony launches its Echo 4RP, a multi-channel GNSS recorder and replay system for precise testing. It also partners with the SDIS to deploy SubWAVE and Echo 4RP in tunnels, enhancing positioning for emergency services.
