Meet Syntony GNSS at ITS World 2026, Safran Booth #S37
From October 19th to 23rd, 2026, Syntony will be in Gangneung, South Korea, for the ITS World Congress, the world’s largest event dedicated to intelligent transport systems. The team will be on Safran’s Booth #S37, with Intospace, Syntony’s Korean partner, ready to talk with mobility operators, transport authorities, and connected vehicles engineers.
SubWAVE, Keeping GNSS Coverage Inside Road Tunnels
Road tunnels are a blind spot for GNSS. Once a vehicle enters, satellite signals disappear, cutting off positioning for drivers, connected vehicles, and any GNSS-based application relying on continuous coverage. SubWAVE extends real GNSS coverage into tunnels, generating usable coordinates that standard GNSS receivers already on board can compute, with a seamless handover between outdoor and underground positioning. SubWAVE has already been deployed in the Mont Blanc Tunnel to maintain GNSS positioning underground and public navigation services, as well as emergency calls location, for all tunnel users.
A SubWAVE Presentation in Korean
On the stand, Syntony will present SubWAVE’s field-proven use cases, including the underground tracking demonstration at La Mine Bleue and the large-scale emergency exercise conducted at a NATO air base. The presentation will be translated into Korean, alongside English.
Come and discover SubWAVE in RETEX on Safran’s Booth #S37 at ITS World Congress 2026, or contact us to discuss GNSS coverage for your tunnel infrastructure.
