GPS

Global Positioning System (GPS) is a GNSS Constellation of satellites developed by the United States of America to provide PNT services worldwide, both for defense and civil usage.

As the first one to have been deployed and available for civil usage, it is the most popular and famous of all GNSS constellations.

The constellation emits several bands signals, each one dedicated to specific use and precision levels:

  • L1 C/A

  • L1P(Y)
  • L2C
